National Sports Film Festival

The National Sports Film Festival will be presented annually at ornate theatres in cities throughout the country, showing restored classic sports movies and featuring celebrity guest appearances before and after the screening. Many of these films have not been seen on large format theatre screens in decades, and this yearly event will generate enthusiasm for saving some of our great sports movies for perpetuity.

An adjunct National Sports Film Preservation Archive will be created to augment the restoration and preservation of these films, which will be funded by the proceeds raised via the Film Festival's presentations.
