A permanent exhibition and the most prestigious presentation in the National Sports Museum will be the National Sports Foundation's Court of the Legends, featuring commissioned artwork and sports memorabilia recognizing the current class of legendary athletes and contributors annually honored at the National Sports Tributes ceremony.

Lifesized sculptures, bronzed bas reliefs, and original oil paintings will memorialize each class of the annual inductees. Similarly enshrined each year will be winners of the foundation's National Spirit Award, presented for individual achievement contributing to sport in America, and the Academic All-Star Award, presented to student-athletes for excellence in both scholarship and athletics.
